Chris is a licensed, insured and seasoned Home Inspector based in Batavia, Illinois. He had over twenty years of hands-on construction experience under his toolbelt before starting as a full-time home inspector in 2015. His passion for residential construction began when he was 10, watching and helping his Dad and Uncles put an addition on his childhood home. Since then, he has enjoyed success as custom cabinetmaker, carpenter, superintendent for national residential builder, and owner of a custom home building firm. He first became licensed as an Illinois Home Inspector with a larger local firm, performing over 3000 inspections. In 2024 he decided it was time to go out on his own, and Threshold Home Inspection Services was founded. He is known for his hands-on, consultative approach to inspecting homes. The client is encouraged to follow along, ask questions and seek out advice on both immediate needs and with any future plans they might have for the property.

Chris is an active member of InterNACHI, the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors.
